In this small group workshop (max 6 participants with appropriate social distancing, runs for between 3 and 4 hours) you will learn all about working with resin and different techniques for creating your original beachscape resin wall art piece. Its all about having fun.
The class is designed for adults and techniques for achieving basic beach scenes, all participants must be over 18 years of age. (Resin is a chemical and not suitable for younger than 18 years, and also not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, or has a lung condition). You will learn all the correct safety requirements for working with resin, and will be guided through all preparations required to work with resin.
This workshop is very hands on and designed for all participants to learn how to prepare your work area and surface safely along with all safety requirements. You will learn resin techniques, to create a birds eye beach view...with the end goal for you to create your very own Unique piece of Resin Wall Art!
We will walk you through the different surfaces and the preparation required to create your piece.
At the end of the workshop your piece will need to cure flat for 24 hours and therefore you will either need to collect your masterpiece the following day (at a designated time) or arrange for delivery to your home (small additional cost).
All materials, equipment and safety products for this workshop will be provided (along with some yummy refreshments), you just need to bring your creative self, wear some clothes you don't mind getting resin on (it cannot be removed from clothing), and be ready to have some fun.
In the class you will practice techniques on a small piece before creating your 50cm round wall art piece, once cured you will take both pieces home!

At the time of booking you will select the date/time for your workshop and as the class is 4 hours it is important that you arrive 15 min early to ensure workshop starts on time.
The workshop requires a minimum of 2 participants to run.
This workshop is no guarantee that you will create a masterpiece of art and your piece is created in a workshop environment that cannot be guaranteed to be dust free, your finished piece may not turn out as you had envisioned and may have imperfections, there are many factors including experience, temperatures and overworking the art, the end results is not the responsibility of the instructor

Cancellation and Refund policy
As all workshops are run at 3rd Party venues, 3 day notice is required for cancellation or transfer to alternative date (this will hopefully give us time to fill your place). We understand that things can come up last minute, however there is a $100 cancellation fee (to cover costs incurred by instructor) for any cancellations within 72 hours of a workshop - or the alternative is to transfer the dates to the next available workshop. We will always do our best to accommodate.

Classes are run at TLC Espresso 92B Maroondah Hwy Ringwood (upstairs away from cafe area) there is parking at the rear of the building.
